Labour Day is around the corner, and with it comes plenty of fun events and festivals.
 

Regina

Visit the Saskatchewan Science Centre on September 2nd for a fun Labour Day Play Day, or join the fun at the annual Shake the Lake Outdoor Music Festival presented by the Conexus Arts Centre and see some of your favourite bands including 54-40 and Styx. This festival is rain or shine and runs August 30 & 31st at Wascana Park. Don't forget to get your tickets to the Labour Day Classic at Mosaic Stadium. This year, Saskatoon's own Bombargo will be providing the halftime performance.
 

Winnipeg

Celebrate Winnipeg's culinary diversity at the Food Trip Fest & Fair. Head to Tyndall Park Community Centre August 31st and September 1st from noon to 9pm to enjoy over 100 delicious menu creations from over 40 vendors! Or, visit the long-running Kleeford Honey Festival as it kicks off August 30th with a movie night in the park and continues all weekend with free pancakes, a parade, kids entertainment, interactive sports, a petting zoo, and an amazing firework display.
 

Calgary 

Spend your Labour Day weekend at the End of Summer Festival at Cobb's Adventure Park. Keep yourself and your family entertained with bouncy houses, pedal cars, tractor rides, archery tag, rope course, mini golf, and more. The festival is open 11am to 5pm August 31st to September 2nd. Tickets available online or in person. 

Party in the Park at the Winsport Arena is perfect for music lovers. This year's performers include Vince Neil, Northern Pikes, and George Thorogood on Saturday August 31st along with Styx and 54-40 on Sunday, September 1st. All ticket holders are invited to explore the Winsport Park and try their monster zipline, summer bobsleigh, scenic chairlift, free fall, and mini golf at reduced rates between acts.
