Summer is just around the corner, and that means Regina's food trucks are getting ready to open!

If you want some of that on-the-go deliciousness, Avenue Living is your guide to the best of the best.

From May to October, you'll find at least six food trucks at the Regina Farmers' Market in the City Square Plaza every Wednesday and Saturday from 9am until 1pm. Our residents living at Victoria Arms, Angus Place, and Granville Apartments live so close they can walk to the market!

In June, Regina residents can look forward to the 2nd Annual Food Truck Wars at Centennial Market, which is just up the street from Highfield Apartments. The market is open 11am to 4pm, so you can eat, vote for your favourite truck, and shop the market all afternoon.

Our favourite Regina food trucks include:

Mr. Spudds Poutinerie: Mr. Spudds serves 35 variations of poutine and delicious flame broiled burgers. Popular choices include the cheeseburger poutine and mozza/bacon burger. When they aren't at the Regina Farmers' Market, find them using their Twitter feed.

Prairie Smoke & Spice: This food truck has all the BBQ you could ask for! Their pulled pork sandwiches are our favourite. You'll find Prairie at the Regina Farmers' Market every Wednesday and Saturday, or check their daily location on Twitter and Facebook.

Bon Burger: Bon Burger is famous for their hand-crafted burgers and fresh cut fries. Find them at the Regina Farmers' Market all season, and check their Facebook and Twitter for daily locations.

Nacho Fiesta Food Truck: Try this food truck for the best nachos in Regina! Also found at the Regina Farmers' Market, Nacho Fiesta serves vegan fish tacos, beer belly tacos, and a variety of nachos.

Sweet Tooth: Satisfy your sweet tooth with the best and most unique rolled ice cream concoctions. Favourites include pop-tartz, cookie monster, or very cherry cheesecake. Check their Facebook feed for daily locations.

Not sure which food truck to try this year? Try them all! Visit the market each week for local fair and some amazing eats along the way.
