Sales Manager - Saskatchewan

The Sales Manager is responsible for the Sales and Retention results of their designated province including new leases, occupancy, retention and collections activity across all centers.  Responsibilities include supervision of all agent activity (lease, collect, retain), customer escalations, training and mentorship.

The role:

  • Daily leadership, mentorship and management of sales staff including leasing agents and retention agents across Saskatchewan.
  • Develop sales team to meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales, retention and collections targets
  • Daily reporting of sales and retention targets and progress updates
  • Ensuring tenant needs are handled in a timely and professional manner consistent with the company retention goals
  • Analyze daily sales reporting, recognizing improvement opportunities and implementing accordingly
  • Monitor and track sales plan progress, initiating corrective activity promptly and communicating results internally
  • Build employee morale and motivation, ensure the ongoing performance and continuous development of direct reports and team members
  • Identify training and employee development opportunities
  • Participate in sales and retention activities with direct reports
  • Manage Leasing and Retention specialist calendars ensuring priorities are met, centers are staffed, etc.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of leasing paperwork, reporting requirements, occupancy report, etc.
  • Ensures appropriate staffing coverages with special attention to long weekends, end of the month, and first of the month – personally covering in instances where a center may be short staffed
  • Communicate regularly with Senior Sales Leadership

Marketing Manager


Role Summary:

The Marketing Manager leads the implementation of marketing plans, program and priorities that support the business and financial objectives. This individual will play a key role in the strategic positioning of the company as a knowledge and service leader through the development of key marketing and communications initiatives. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of approved marketing plans that align with the designated business objectives, and drives demand for products, services and solutions.
  • Manage and lead website advertising platform, and tools required to allow it to function efficiently and coordinate with other social media platforms and web tools.
  • Responsible to execute marketing communications via all forms of media including but not limited to print, radio, online, digital, social media, email and video
  • Monitor, research and analyze relevant data to identify trends and patterns as it relates to marketing initiatives and special events. Be responsible to track emerging market developments, consumer trends and other marketing opportunities to increase sales.
  • Design and build new programs that incorporate best practices and deploy these with excellence.  Monitor and measure program adoption and effectiveness and use these insights to continuously enhance performance.
  • Be responsible for the development, execution and monitoring of the social media strategies, including Twitter, Facebook, Linked In. etc.
  • Monitor and control key parameters (scope, resources, risks, schedule) while maintaining quality standards on all deliverables.
  • Maintains relationships with all major vendors (print, media, creative, etc.) to ensure marketing needs are serviced at a competitive rate.  
  • Manage multiple deliverables such as quotes, campaigns, and budgets within defined approval process to ensure on time and on budget execution.
  • Responsible for regular and ad-hoc status reports of all marketing and projects.
  • Provide support to the Sales organization to ensure effective coordination and communications to progress work ahead
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrate success in retention; you are able to follow up, problem solve, and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain a professional disposition and solution focused attitude at all times;
  • Review your future renewals and plan a retention schedule
  • Review your month to month tenants and convert to lease agreements
  • Check cleanliness of building – monitoring of buildings – monitoring of branding - report condition of all properties
  • Collect rental arrears in a timely manner
  • Facilitate the eviction process for non-paying tenants and breaches of lease agreements
  • Facilitate the move out process for all tenants and ensure move out paperwork is completed in a timely manner
  • Manage difficult tenancies to ensure appropriate measures are taken for ending a tenancy
  • Tour properties on a daily basis looking for opportunities to improve the living community;
  • Communicate ideas often to leadership;
  • Attend all required training and meetings at Regional Office;
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Sr. Director of Sales & Revenue Management
